Girls suffer from numerous forms of violence from a very young age simply because they are girls.<\/h2>\n

I recently found myself in front of a small group of young women who briefly explained the numerous sexual assaults they have endured from a very young age. A forced kiss is not just a little peck, it is a sexual assault. Looking under girls\u2019 skirts is not curiosity, it is voyeurism.<\/p>\n

Identify and Act in Your Own Way<\/h2>\n

Idea: Individually or in small groups, identify all the aggressions committed against you.<\/p>\n

  1. Identify how the penal code names this type of act (we are not at the stage of filing a complaint or providing evidence, initial question: what is what you have experienced called legally).<\/li>\n
  2. Identify the conscious or unconscious strategies you have put in place to cope.<\/li>\n
  3. Identify what was offered to protect you (someone recently brought up the old idea of cyclist shorts under dresses and skirts\u2026 well, that\u2019s not what prevented sexual assaults).<\/li>\n
  4. Once the picture is drawn\u2026 what do you wish to do with it?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
