November 11 – Day of Remembrance

From November 11, 1940 to November 11, 2025

On November 11, 1940 Me André Weil-Curiel, Lawyer and his colleague and friend Léon-Maurice Nordman, placed at the foot of the statue of Georges Clémenceau a wreath of tricolor flowers for LA FRANCE LIBRE with a card in the name of GENERAL DE GAULLE.

Thanks to the mobilization of their colleagues and friends Albert Naud, René Georges-Etienne, René Sanson, Andrée Marty Cap-Gras, Alebrt Goldschild, Gautier Vignaud and Fatien, the Parisians came in large numbers to bring their bouquets in the colors of France, demonstrating thus their spirit of resistance.
